Trinket Tuesday: Coronation Crown

P1050666 2

What do we have here? The coronation crown of Louis XV on display at the Louvre. The stones have since been replaced with paste, but it was still impressive to see in person. My favorite part about this crown is the fleur-de-lis.

I’d wear it. Would you?

Trinket Tuesday is where I share some of the lovely things I discover during my travels, research or around town. All pictures are my own (unless I state otherwise). I hope you enjoy!
